Welcome
to The
Highlander Inn
~ at the epicentre of the
"Malt Whisky Universe"
The Highlander Inn is in the centre of the village of Craigellachie, the heart of Scotland's Malt Whisky Trail.
With just 5 en-suite bedrooms, bar, "club room", outdoor patio, lounge, a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar
and the restaurant), and private, off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part
of Scotland.
We are open all year, and have a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere; a really cosy, hospitable "home from home".
The Highlander was purchased in June 2005 by Duncan Elphick (General Manager of the Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside for eight
years until then) together with local landowner, Innes Macpherson, his silent business partner.
Tatsuya Minagawa, recruited by Duncan from 'M's' Bar, Edinburgh, in 2003 to manage the Quaich Bar at Craigellachie Hotel, joined
us as Bar and Whisky Manager.
