Welcome to The Highlander Inn
~ at the epicentre of the
"Malt Whisky Universe"

the Highlander Inn, Craigellachie The Highlander Inn is in the centre of the village of Craigellachie, the heart of Scotland's Malt Whisky Trail.

With just 5 en-suite bedrooms, bar, "club room", outdoor patio, lounge, a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar and the restaurant), and private, off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of Scotland.

A real log fire and leather sofas in the Lounge We are open all year, and have a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere; a really cosy, hospitable "home from home".

The Highlander was purchased in mid 2005 by Duncan Elphick (who was General Manager of the Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside for over 8 years until this move), together with his business partner Innes Macpherson, and Co-Director and Bar and Whisky Manager, Tatsuya Minagawa.
