Welcome to The Highlander Inn
~ at the epicentre of the "Malt Whisky Universe"
The Highlander Inn is in the centre of the village of Craigellachie, the heart of Scotland's
Malt Whisky Trail.
With just 5 en-suite bedrooms, bar, "club room",
outdoor patio, lounge, a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar and the restaurant), and private,
off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of Scotland.
We are open all year, and have a warm, friendly
and relaxing atmosphere; a really cosy, hospitable "home from home".
The Highlander was purchased in mid 2005 by Duncan Elphick (who was General Manager of the Craigellachie Hotel
of Speyside for over 8 years until this move), together with his business partner
Innes Macpherson, and
Co-Director and Bar and Whisky Manager, Tatsuya Minagawa.
As a member of VisitScotland's Quality Assurance Programme, we are delighted to have maintained our 3 star award
at our last inspection.
