Raspberry parfait



All our food is freshly prepared in our kitchen by Head Chef Scott Morton with Pamela Pearce and Murray Flett, using locally sourced ingredients.


We do NOT use bought in or ready made, pre-prepared meals!



  • Our soups are all homemade
  • Our vegetables are all fresh, delivered daily
  • Our meats are selected from a highly respected local butcher
  • Our fish is delivered freshly landed from the Moray Firth / North Sea

    Bar meals ~ relaxed and informal

    Bar meals are available every day in a warm, relaxed atmosphere, from 12 noon until 2.00pm and from 5.30 pm until 9.30pm ~ we don't take table reservations, just come along. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, Bar Meals are available ALL day (12 noon - 9.30pm).

    Aberdeen Angus fillet with pepper sauce




    At prime times on busy evenings you may have to wait a few minutes before being able to get a table, but please be patient, it will be worth it!



    Fish & chips




    With a large choice of starters and main courses, including some vegetarian options, you're spoilt for choice.




    Steak & ale pie


    Aberdeen Angus fillet steak, "Fish 'n Chips" and Steak and ale pie are 3 of the most popular choices.






    Larger parties
    If you have a larger party ~ 8 or more ~ please give us a call in advance and we will TRY to reserve a table for you at the time you want. In order not to disappoint others wishing to eat, we do reserve the right to let someone else take your table if you haven't arrived within 15 minutes after the agreed time.

    The Restaurant ~ more formal dining

    The a la carte restaurant is ideal for more formal, although still relaxed dining.

    Curently it is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. Advance table reservations are essential.

    However, if you wish to book the restaurant on another day of the week ~ PLEASE call well in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

    The Lounge - enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the lounge while ordering from the a la carte menu.








    As the restaurant has a maximum of only 5 tables, we do require table reservations in advance (Tel:- 01340 881 446).









    The restaurant menu features a choice of 6 starters, 6 main courses and 6 desserts, all freshly made in our kitchens for you to enjoy.

    Private Dining

    By prior arrangement, private parties of between 10 and 20 people can thoroughly enjoy exclusive use of our restaurant and lounge.

    We do require a pre-order from the restaurant menu for these occasions.
