Food at The Highlander Inn

All our food is freshly prepared in our kitchen by using locally sourced ingredients.

  • Our meats are selected from a highly respected local butcher
  • Our fish is delivered freshly landed from the Moray Firth / North Sea

We have a choice of dining venues; our Whisky Bar and Club Room, surrounded by our various malt whiskies, and our Restaurant, with its small, cosy lounge attached.

In the restaurant, there are a maximum of 20 seats, and when you reserve a table, it's yours for the whole evening. Relax and enjoy an aperitif in the lounge before dinner, before being taken to your table to enjoy a relaxed, superbly cooked dinner.

After dinner coffees (perhaps accompanied by a digestif malt whisky?) can be served at your table, back in the lounge, or downstairs in the Whisky Bar.

Bar lunches and suppers are available every day in our Whisky Bar and Club Room. Choose your table and take a seat. We'll bring menus to you and take your drinks order while you relax and soak up the atmosphere.

A full breakfast is served daily in the restaurant between 08:00 and 09:00 (09:00 and 10:00 on Sundays).
