Accommodation for Families or small groups travelling together

In addition to the bedrooms in the main building, we also have 2 houses; one just 35 metres across the street, and the other right next door to the main building.

Each house is ideally suited for families or small groups of people travelling together (maximum 5 people per house) with 2 twin / double rooms and a small single room which share a lounge / sitting room and a bathroom.

Please note, these houses are NOT available for self catering.

Subject to availability, we also let these houses to 1 or 2 people exclusively, in effect offering private facilities. In this case, the charge will be the same as rooms in the main building.

These bedrooms are decorated to the same high standards as those in the main building with:-

  • Wireless internet access ~ FREE

  • ‘Black out’ curtains

In each lounge, we have also recently added, for your further entertainment and relaxation:-

  • Luxury leather sofa and armchairs
  • Brooklyn Oak occasional tables
  • Sony Bravia TV with Freeview
  • Sony Micro Hi-Fi system with a DAB digital radio,iPod dock, USB port and CD player (bring your own CD's, iPhone, USB stick or MP3 Player with USB connection, CD's)

Additional Guest Facilities

Satelite Navigation. We offer, as an additional facility for our guests, the use of a plug-in "Tomtom" satelite navigation device to make travelling around the area, visiting distilleries, local attractions, etc that much easier. There is only one available so it does need to be requested a minimum of 24 hours in advance. This is free to hotel guests.

Cycle Hire. A men's Hybrid bike, purchased in June 2010, is available to borrow, with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice. Again this is free to hotel guests, so please look after it, and yourself. It is borrowed at your own risk. There may also be a ladies mountain bike available on the same basis - please just ask.
